This geezer is obviously fit to work, but from the story is another example of a potentially useful member of society being given cash taken from taxpayers.

Interesting he got 15 months for the financial offence, no prison time for the violence....

But Judge Christopher Metcalf deferred the sentencing for six months after hearing he had become a "different man".

Harris was found to fraudulently have been claiming Income Support, Housing Benefit and Council Tax benefit between January 2006 and November 2010, as well as receiving £54,729 in earnings which he failed to declare and claiming Disability Living Allowance.
