"my Rightmove"

Recommended Posts

I often notice the "My Rightmove" feature on the Rightmove website and was wondering what it was all about? I guess (without reading anything about it!) that you can "Save" properties that are of interest to you and that email alerts will be sent when changes are made (i.e. price reductions). Is it possible to make private notes?

To the agents on here (or for that matter, anyone who knows!) can the EA see who has added which property and contact them? And if there is the ability to make notes can the EA see them?

Basically what are the advantages of signing up?

Thanks in advance for all info.

PS: I don't work for Rightmove and there are other property porn websites available!!

As far as I know it just allows you to save your favourite properties. It won't send you emails when the properties change. You need property bee for that. I would assume that the agents can see the number of people who have saved the property but not any of their details.

The most useful feature is that you can save a search and be alerted when new properties meet your critiera.

You can also add notes. As far as I know nobody else can see them, although if the EAs could read mine they might not be too pleased.
