Failed To Sell At Auction

Marsh Farm, A Well known house in Sale M33, Was recently on Rightmove for £550,000.

Drove past it last week and found an Auction sign stating friday the 13th at 3pm.

furiously refreshing their site to find out how much it went for on friday night.....

chatting to a friend who also follows property (but thinks there is no problem with the economy and Hprices) said the reserve price was £250k.

At £250k I was going to buy that this morning. Unfortunately the vendor is looking for more like £500k, agent thought it might get part way to £400k with negotiation, not a forced sale so vendor was just testing the water.

Drove past the house this morning and spotted a to let board, it's now availble to rent at £1800pcm, I'm not sure it's good value at that price, you'd need to really like the style.
