I could not believe my ears.

Looking at property in more expensive parts of Bath - ideally a run down flat £300-400k, which they could do up and sell on to make money. They would then build on a plot of land that they own abroad with a view to further financial success. No previous experience save inheriting money.

I tried and failed to introduce the idea that they may not make money. "The right property always rises in price" she said.
