"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall — think of it, always."

Reminds me of a great phone in I heard chaired by Edwina Currie. I cant remember what the subject of the phone in was supposed to be, but it went like this.

Elderly Lady Caller - "I remember our brave boys going to war in Spain to fight Franco. If it hadnt been for them, he would have won".

Edwina Currie - "Franco did win".

Elderly Lady Caller - "Yes, but our lads got rid of him in the end".

Edwina Currie - "No they didnt, he died peacefully in his sleep after many years of rule".

But Franco was the good guy and the communists were the bad guys.

Here's a Wikipedia entry about the murder of Catholic Nuns and priests by the communists in Spain : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Terror_(Spain)

The Socialists gained power after his death and now the Spanish economy is in ruins to most likely never recover.

Stupid old bag.
