Financial Adviser 'wouldn't Touch Property With A Bargepole'

Recommended Posts

My employer invited a financial adviser in today to run seminars for its younger staff. Part of it was about getting a mortgage, but he prefaced his advice by stating bluntly that he, 'wouldn't touch property with a bargepole' himself right now. :)

Defintiely made a lot of my colleagues - who've responded with bewidlerment to my bearish outbursts - stop and think B)

LOL, yes, it's funny that. I bet nobody gave a bewildered 'furrowed brow' look to him, like he'd just said the moon was made of cheese. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Actually, I've just checked, the moon is made of cheese (zoom right in and you'll see what I mean):

Schwinnnng!

I think the message is out there. Just eaten dinner with wor lass and she told me of a colleague who had to reduce her prices substantially in order to sell her house.

Hey, dream scenario. Rout in the housing market, UK economy just about pips it through, interest rates at rock bottom and those with cash take the spoils!

Mmmmm....well I am allowed to think about it!

;)
