Someone Dropped A Mock Tudor Portakabin On My Garage!

God I hate flat roof extensions like that, spend a bit more money and extend the roof.

It just looks awful. Wouldn't ever buy a house like that, if I did I'd want £20k (just a guess no idea how much it would cost to put a proper roof on) knocking off the price to fix it.

Yup there's one round my way too. The vendor clearly sees it as a feature as he's lumped £25k on the price recently.

How did they ever get planning permission for such monstrosities?

Equal oppurtunities?

Must recruit 5% blind planning officers, who knows?

This is councils we're talking about...

Hmm. I don't think you'd get away with that in a lot of communities.

Who the hell would want their neighbour effectively putting an architectural carbuncle on what looks to be a picturesque period home?

It'd bring down the whole neighbourhood.

People are stupid, that is the constant in any equation relating British property.
