Anyone buying a mortgage in the last few years are going to be crucified when their apparently affordable 4.99% mortgage shoots up because they're actually stuck on BOE+4.49% and can't get off the bus.

If i'm reading that right, fixed rate period for 5.4% above BOE rate and then reverting to only 4.9% above base rate? Where do i sign up? :blink:
