At the same meeting, the CBI is also set to warn that firms may be forced to lay off staff and close down this winter, amid fears of a power shortage.

Then they should invest in a wind turbine! There are options, other than windging to the government. Government is not brilliant by any measure, but frankly some things are out of their control, oil prices are one of them.

In any event our collective lack of fore thought and prepareness is going to hurt, possibly sooner than we think!


Households up and down the coutry are going to have a bleak winter!
