Rita Did More Damage Than Initially Thought

Oil and gasoline prices are edging back up, according to the BBC.

Initial optimism that facilities would be back working quickly have faded, and it now looks as if it will take weeks.

Looks like things are tighter than everyone thought. I saw an artical the other day that suggested that the repair crews are overworked fixing the damage from Katrina!! Little or no spare capacity to deal with Rita's impact. Efficiency is all very well, but efficiency is the opposite to robustness and nature is demonstrating that most effectively.
