"which" Upset Hatton Garden Metals

Recommended Posts

So Hatton Garden Metals, a company previously recognised as the No.1 Postal Gold Company by a leading consumer website were not included in a review on the online gold buying sector. Doesn’t it make you wonder how deep their research was? Here’s what Which? told us: -

‘When Which? conducts an investigation we are not able to look at every player in every industry but do aim to provide a snapshot of the market in its current state. In this news story we wanted to re-visit mostly the same companies we looked at in our previous investigation for the sake of consistency’

Which? Action – Tuesday 5th April 2011

If Which? can f@ck that review up so badly, what the hell are they like with something like vacuum cleaners?

Which is like any other car/bike/whatever magazine.

Whoever pays for the advertising they shill for. Motorbike and car magazines for instance will never ever put the boot in else adverts dry up. The VFR800VTEC was an awful bike, the VTEC system didn't work as the RPM to activate the VTEC system was where everyday riding speeds (in most gears) happened to be.

It had appaulling maintenance costs and weighed in at nearly 1/3 or a ton and went back to a cam chain a step backwards.

yet every bike magazine reviewed it as an excellent bike.

I think you have hit the nail on the head.

Anyone who has been on the receiving end of Which advertising knows that they sell themselves in precisely the same way as the worst sort of scams. (Subscribe and get a free calculator...but wait if you call within the next 48 hours, you get 3 free books valued at etc. etc.)

A pity really, as there is an ever increasing need for good impartial reviews.

Sure just go to forums and ask. Motorbike magazines for instance are completely discredited. People went to forums. First Visordown and BCF. Then magazines bought visordown, BCF remains impartial about things and people will tell you how it is regarding motorbikes and most of them will be brutally frank about it.
