Warwick-Watcher
Words fail - £20k re-location package for the fire chief of Essex. Now one might think he'd re-locate to Essex, but no - he's bought a house in Suffolk. Strangely enough no word from the DM about the value of the house ! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1378240/Fire-chief-David-Johnson-charges-taxpayer-20k-home-Suffolk.html

Bloo Loo
he gets £200K a year at least in salary and benefits. a good case for 50% cuts in salaries above 25K and pensions for those in public service. He is clearly so important to the emergency service that on call out, for a serious incident that requires skills only he has, that he is able to live in another county.
