What's The Point In Working Again?

Recommended Posts

Uncle's wife is working just 16 hours a week at the moment. This is topped up with carer's allowance (disabled kid) and working tax credits... Now she was thinking of doing 30 hours a week... this would mean no working tax IIRC... but the gain she would be getting is negligible! So instead she's just going to stick to 16 hours and claim the benefit. Totally the wrong way round from the way things should be.

Good luck to them, its a matter of survival out there youve got to do what youve got to do.

This is why we need a citizens bond. The more I think about it the better I think it sounds.

You just need to ask yourself one question.... who's the asshole?

Does your uncle work? If so, then your aunt has probably made the best decision for your nephew/niece.

Who you gonna vote for next month to change the system?
