Russia Now World's No. 1 Oil Producer - Ahead Of Saudi Arabia

Clearly the oil fields in Saudi Arabia have hit peak production (i.e., peak oil) in much the same way as Mexico, the U.S., Britain and virtually every country in the world has. With prices rising, would they cut back and let Russia take the top spot – if they had the oil to pump?

Huh? That chart shows KSA output increasing and ahead of Russia?

They have the oil - problem is the spare capcity in the refinery's around the world isn't geared to take Manifa heavy (lots of sulphur and vanadium).
