Loose Lending?

Recommended Posts

From the Nationwide during meeting to open an account.

Deposit I have is 3.5x my salary, and was offered 6.3x on top of that to borrow.

Could hardly believe it.

3.5 salary deposit is the key ,plenty there to take a hit they are lending very little if you have a small deposit so they have to generate their line `s off debit slaves and profits higher up the line as they now see a big part off the market to risky

Is this the norm that when you have a large deposit then they will lend you a higher salary multiple? I've spoken with one bank previously and this wasn't the case.
