The utter rubbish spouted left right and centre from all the labour fanatics forced me to switch off and when the coalition chap managed to get a word in edgeways the Führer Dimbleby interupted him!

Even though I've seen it a million times and it was a rubbish episode, I decided to watch Family Guy!

I hope (despite the lack of the MP's pension) that I would still be a far better bet than that miserable bitter old shrew :)

Though I would have to buy my own place as the Government would not cover my mortgage payments...

Every time I see Question Time i simply wish more and more that Labour had won the last election. Labour voters just dont get it and their politicians are in denial regarding what mess we are in. It is never more obvious than during Question Time where the masses can get together and reqard themselves so self serving and perfect despite the fact they appear to be effing clueless.....

Is Caroline Flint for real? She seems like the spawn of Ed Balls... I was hoping he was unique :(

...Caroline Flint who looks and acts like a thug claimed the deficit was higher when Labour came in than when they left...in 1997 the deficit was about £15 billion and went into surplus over the next four years or so and was about £160 billion last year when they left ...correct me if my figures are slightly out ....we know they were left a decent book ...we know they departed with no money left...ask Liam Byrne.....but did David DIM (bleby) pick her up ...no....he is past due as Chairman of this Labour biased load of rubbish ...if PRAVDA tried this in Moscow they would be closed down ..... <_<

The bias now is now surely inrefutable (?is that a word..) Caroline Flint was allowed to say what she wished during Question Time and was almost unchallenged. Despite the fact that Labour inherited a reasonable economy and left us with a Zimbabwe style one...

Annoys me when the cameras pan in on a lefty rows clapping even if the Marxist f a r t s. It looks like the whole audience is clapping.

Beats me how people keep their cool. I'd be mouthing off at Flint at everything she says.

I gave up before the end and played on me puter.

These coalition types don't throw it back enough. Labour get all bully boy and seem to take the upper hand purely by grunt and shear force. The Tories are too nice and get trodden on.

How can that professor guy take Labour's side? He's a technical guy who uses logic for his profession.

I think you mean debt, not deficit.

Really? You know you can probably get help for these kind of things....

Chemical castration versus Caroline Flint. The ultimate Hobson's Choice?

I think you mean debt, not deficit.

National debt in 1997 was £350 billion.

Why does anybody watch this lefty rubbish? Turn it off.

I keep telling 'em.

Robin Day dead is a better QT host than Dimblebore will ever be.

That's what got me, also. What a lying piece of trash to be saying those complete LIES! And nobody picked up on it (I think the LibDerm'er was about to, though..) - DimbleDor let it pass, and the audience didn't seem any wiser (but we know the British public will believe anything!).

I mean honestly, HOW ON EARTH can Labour get away with outright LIES like that? Seriously, I cannot believe that blatant lie!! Trying to run the country? They should go to jail!

Unbelievable. I am VERY glad I am not involved in those circles as it just seems like a cut-throat business full of deceit, lies, and little thanks. You could see right through Flint... cares for the common man? My backside. It's ALL a power jockeying game for themselves. Surely nobody with ANY common sense can believe that socialist tripe.. goes to show just how DUMB a lot of Britons are.

Bit of a worry that people who spend a lot of time here simply don't understand which is which. Never mind trying to get your head round what a £billion means and what represents in terms of tax raising or spending.

£6bn - that's £1,000 for every 6 million people. Looking at the stats for the UK, excluding public sector, economically inactive and pseudo public sector, I guess that's pretty much the entire employed workforce...

Now, did someone mention £160bn?

This is where it started!

This is where that rubbish Flint was spouting came from - more Balls! :D

3rd paragraph is the best bit. I also love the fact that Balls accuses the Tories and Lib Dems of rewriting history which is exactly what he's doing himself. Typical lying scumbag politician

Now I've heard this rubbish about "debt and deficit being lower than inherited from the Tories until the GLOBAL (lol) financial crisis hit...." and it's now being repeated time and time again.

But what really made my blood boil was the fact that it was left unchallenged despite Cazzer interrupting everyone at every opportunity. I think the lib dem woman was quite on the ball (pun not intended) but the Tory bloke was just a wet blanket. Dumbledore did his usual bias job. Plonker.

So anyone up for a fight? I'm just sick and tired of this crap being spouted and being left unchallenged. Some of it is down to journo ignorance and the appalling job the Tories do at PR. So why don't we lend a hand??? Maybe a quick yet well constructed email to Caroline Flint's office with the real figures and asking how she came to make the error. I expect this to be ignored. But then we could approach the media. If lots of good quality research is done for them they might bite.

Any hacks reading this?

I'm crap at number crunching, but a quick google shows the national debt at £352B in 1997 - but I can't find a source that shows the yearly figures. HELP PEEPS!

I can gladly coordinate this as I'm off for the next month or (contract ended and nothing till end May) so I have the time to do this. Anyone interested? PM me and we can chat more.....

Right - off out to get some sun and let the blood cool off. Will be back to check if anyone is interested later....
