Alworths (stared by former Woolworths management) gone today as well.

It was rent quarter end of last month which I guess tested balance sheets for quite a few businesses.

Shame hopefully Wellworths in Dorchester are still going. I admired the way the previous manager reopened the shop under a media fanfare.

Good. I'm genuinely glad that nasty little rag has gone.

It was just a cynical device to farm money from lonely men with low IQ's who couldn't get laid.

However, it's pioneering coverage of disability issue's will be remembered by many with some fondness.

Thanks. Any views on JJB? (They seem to be plodding along, and always pull a rabbit out if the hat)

I used to sort out the paper rounds many years ago. It was a dodgey bloke who gets it each week delivered.

Internet porn has killed it.

The dirty pornographer David Sullivan lives near to my town (he lives in Theydon Bois, home of the tasteless bling coke heads of the Essex/London borders).

Unfortunately this won't harm him as he flogged the paper for 40M in 2007 according to Whankypedia.

Is this paper relared to "House prices soar Daily Express" group? Would be nice if Daily Express goes pop as well. :D

Pay attention please, Reading Rabbit. It would have been related to The Excess if he hadn't sold The Spurt for £40M in 2007.

It is very hard to make money from soft porn nowadays.

Before the internet the business throbbed but now they just can't keep up the circulation.
