Excel Help!

i have a column of numbers which all have an ? symbol in front of them which is buggering up a mailshot

What's the best way to clear the ? symbal in one go?

Best answer gets a slice of battenburg.

Pull out the mains plug should do it in one go. :D

I'm tempted...

just worked it out so will get me a battenburg.

Should anyone else come accross this particular problem in the future, here's your solution.

=RIGHT(Cellname,LEN(cellname)-1)

That's one way to do it, but another way is to use the "text to columns" command. It basically separates the cell in two (you either choose to split it by "key words", like delimiter. So in your case you could make it split on the "?" and if that doesn't work you can use the fixed width option - so if the "?" is in the same place in all cells - you can just use that).
