Havering Council Cuts

Updated Feb 24

• Havering Council announced a savings plan of £19 million over the next three years. Of this 11.4 million will be found in this financial year.

• Expecting a reduction of around 190 posts this year - cant rule out further posts to go over 3 year period

• Havering has the highest proportion of pensioners in London, but they're making cuts of around £4 million per year to social care arrangements (from a current budget of £51 million)

Interesting for those living ion London. What services are going and how many jobs.
