He's saying all the right things imo.

Outlining how big a hole in the UK economy is really in, and how bad a job the last administration did.

Income tax & NI to be combined? WIN.

To possibly be combined after "many years" of consultation exercises by consultants. If that's a win I'd hate to see a loss.

Lots of noise no substance.

"The lowest corporation in the G7. Britain is open for business"

You just know that it's really just going to be open door for all the spivs, chancers and tax dodgers around the world like the good old days.

corporate tax being cut. by 2% from April. rationale being fear that corporations will move the business to other countries. I guess the only way to get a tax cut is to threaten to live the country

From a man who was championing the wonderful Irish economy and

suggesting we should imitate it I am looking forward to his insight and

wisdom. :)

Lowering corporation tax ... just like Ireland.

"Let Britain be the home of enterprise":lol:

Fine words - there's never been any shortage of promises promises.

Now he comes out with "we're all in this together"- the speech is now bordering on the farce.

and there is it, a £200 pot to help FTB'ers buy a NEW home - not a second hand one a NEW one

******* TW@

That really is not a big deal. Won't make much difference (perhaps some for Barratt and the like) Most new houses are shit and in bad areas anyways.
