Democorruptcy
It would be interesting to see what we could get printed. Stuff like: Objecting to this new council scheme to remove lending risk from Lloyds to "help" first time buyers. Tax breaks for BTL landlords etc MPs property portfolios Higher house prices = larger mortgages = more profits for banks SMI Property porn on TV etc etc
Pent Up
I quite often write to news papers. So far not had anything printed that I have seen, although I send the same letter to several papers at a time so don't check them all.
SarahBell
Do it! Write something every day if you can. Local papers always have space to fill! The nationals have published a couple of mine too. I don't read the telepgraph though to know if any have been published there. You can email most. include name, address and phone number - they all want that. Have not had anyone ring me - but did have feedback from a journo wanting to do a story on a bad landlord a while ago. And remember, letters to papers should be SHORT and CONCISE. If they like your argument they'll probably edit any padding anyway, so best to do it yourself first. I've had a few in The Times. Not for a while, though. Have sent them a couple on House Prices Are Too High - not altogether surprised that they didn't use them. Can't rock the VI boat - they must get a lot of advertising revenue from EAs etc. Mind you this applies to a lot of local papers, too.

How would anyone be able to notice?
