This is just a quick poll to see the geographical location of everyone here, this is just to see if the location of people here correlates to realisation of a HPC.

Possibly the greater the numbers in a particular location means bigger bubble in that area?

Thanks for your input.

Possibly the opposite regarding location vs. bubble may be true because people are able to stand back and take a wider view?

Live in South London and the market is not good at all. Loads of houses for sale and the only ones selling are those that are cutting prices. Properties in the £300,000 - £400,000 bracket aren't moving at all. Some have been on the market for at least 18 months or so. Nearly bought at Christmas nice house, nice location, good schools currently still on the market with a £70,000 price cut. Not long now before people realise what's really happening with house prices.

Consa. You seem to have missed out the whole of the Midlands.

Or are you one of these southerners who thinks the North starts at Hemel Hempstead ?

I was always under the impression that the north started at Watford. :D

Herts countryside.

All the big stuff (£500000+) isnt selling unless they accept c20 - 25% lower offers.

Lots of local examples like this; £1.2m asking price. Sold after many months for £890000. Would have achieved near to asking 2 years ago.

Good time to buy a big place??

Just looking for a geographical picture, North being above london(if you think you are nearer london than the north, just put london if you want to be picky), not trying to start a North/South war!! do you want me to draw a picture? :

Mumbles:"bloody midlanders"

An easier way might have been to list the BBC TV regions. Everyone should know what theirs is.

Well, I think this 'poll' says alot about the South East English mentality towards the rest of the UK... 'W' suddenly becomes Wales - why not 'the West'... the Midlands is non-existent...

Even if 'W' means Wales you are falling into the usual Media mentality of not realising that 180 miles separates North Wales from South Wales and Wales is very diverse between North, South East, South West and Mid-Wales...

Does 'Ireland' mean Eire, Northern Ireland or both?

I think he included Wales in the Overseas section, he probably thought the only way in is over the Severn Bridge. :)

WTF <_< , it is only a roughly geographical graph, just vote on one and stop trying to cause trouble, your comment would throw more weight if you bothered to put your location in your profile :P
