Loads of houses for sale and the only ones selling are those that are cutting prices. Properties in the £300,000 - £400,000 bracket aren't moving at all. Some have been on the market for at least 18 months or so. Nearly bought at Christmas nice house, nice location, good schools currently still on the market with a £70,000 price cut. Lots of local examples like this; £1.2m asking price. Sold after many months for £890000. Would have achieved near to asking 2 years ago. Good time to buy a big place?? 'W' suddenly becomes Wales - why not 'the West'... the Midlands is non-existent... Even if 'W' means Wales you are falling into the usual Media mentality of not realising that 180 miles separates North Wales from South Wales and Wales is very diverse between North, South East, South West and Mid-Wales...
