greengreen
I have recently downloaded a Title register from the Land Registry. It contains various information including any charges on that particular property, one of which is the bank that has provided the mortgage. in teh Title Absolute is this statement: No disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a written consent signed by the proprietor for the time being of the Charge dated xx/xx/xxxx in favour of Bank Name Ltd referred to in the Charges Register. My question is, does the charges register contain the financial details (value) of the mortgage? and if so where do you get a copy? is it from your local council? or somewhere else? nickincash
The Charges Register is Section C of the title register. It is where you found the details of charges.
greengreen
After a good hunt around online to answer this question, it all becomes clear after a quick post on HPC. Thanks
Driver
The Charges Register is Section C of the title register. It is where you found the details of charges. It also contains details of other burdens on the land, the two most common being restrictive covenants and subjective easements.
