House Prices Fell Last Month At The Slowest Pace Since July Last Year

Recommended Posts

"House prices fell last month at the slowest pace since July last year".

BBC News' spin on RICS report .

The bold bit will do. That'll do pig, that'll do.

Anyway, strictly speaking, if I jump off a cliff but bounce off the rocks half way down, I too will be 'falling at the slowest rate' whilst all my bones are broken and my organs pulverised by the rocky outcrop. Then of course I speed on up just in time to bounce on the ground below whereupon my bones are shattered and thrown into my vital organs like shrapnel from an exploding bomb. I never end up at the top of the cliff again and I certainly don't recover.

Just a thought.

Even if you manage to deploy your parachute, you will keep falling until you eventually reach the bottom.

But you would have hit bottom - "Can only go up from here" says BBC.

Do you think that if we had an acceleration of falls then we would be getting to the rises again sooner?

Good news surely?
