Commerzbank bankers given go ahead by Court of Appeal to sue over bonuses
A group of 104 investment bankers has been given the go-ahead to sue Commerzbank for failing to pay out full bonuses at the height of the financial crisis in 2008..../
The bankers claim that Commerzbank, which bought Dresdner Kleinwort, had to honour an agreement to provide a €400m bonus pool.

Let's see, if there are 104 Banksters chasing a pot of Euro 400million............................Cha--ching!

Dese guys have got balls to want a taste after causing the losses in the first place. IMO, they need greasing not being paid off.

I'm having an Injin moment......was this agreed 400m based on performance and already earned income from goods and services the bank provided or was it to be magic'ed out of thin air via numbers on a computer screen?

Sounds like a guaranteed bonus that Commerzbank reneged on.

Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain court transcripts i.e. to find out what the bankers contracts actually say?

I would imagine the rule of "omerta" applies to that world. Nothing actually in writing just deals between thieves.
