John Lewis - Trading Conditions Worst For 15 Years

There's an article in the Metro this morning (business page) saying John Lewis are finding trading conditions the toughest for 15 years.

...so that would be the toughest since 1990 then? Seems about right to me :)

what a pity the banks cant both magic up free money for house owners to spend

-and lend money for household goods to recent FTBs or young families.

they made a choice.

it was the wrong one.
