This website allows you to cross-check media reports against a database of press releases to see where the original copy came from. I'm sure it will expose some estate agent spin dressed up as news or objective analysis. According to The Drum: Surprisingly the mighty BBC News website is named as one of the sites most prone to indulge in a spot of churn, a result partly attributed to the public service broadcaster’s requirement to carry government pronouncements and produce a high turnover of regional content.
