They Should Be Thankful They Got A Sale..

Recommended Posts

Just came accross this ad for a Terrace in Stockport with the following line

"We act on behalf of the mortgagees in possession and are in receipt of an offer of 85,000 subject to contract for this property.

Anyone wishing to place a higher offer must do so by midday on the 14th of February 2011 to Bridgfords, 156 London Road, Hazel Grove, SK7 4DJ."

Repossession, innit. It's a legal requirement.

If somebody's already made an offer it must mean it's a bargain. You're missing out. You'll never be able to get anything at such a low price. If somebody wants it it must be good. Quick, make a higher offer before it's too late.

Well, the old brickwork has a bit of character, and there's nothing visible in the rest of that picture that couldn't be fixed with a bit of hard work (and money, of course). If the inside is in the same state (which it probably is) I'd be rather more worried. What's that bit of Stockport like? I've seen terraces up for quite a bit more than that (admittedly not repos) in Stockport, so I'm guessing not so good.
