House Purchase Falls Through -

Recommended Posts

This just gets madder and madder. Cousin was just buying house in S England and purchase fell through. Having enquired why, it appears grandmother was selling house to finance grandson's mortgage - until another side of her family found out.

She had just lost her husband.

Think my cousin's had a lucky escape - was having second thoughts about buying anyway.

That is not a house price crash issue - that is a grief issue. I feel sorry for the Woman and well done her family for stepping in.

You should not make any major decisions in life for a good year at least after you lose someone so close to you.

I agree - wise words MT - though it shows you how desperate things are when grandparents are being relied on to bail out their grandkids mortgage debt -
