E.on Leccy Prices Going Up

Recommended Posts

They have sent me a very nice letter telling me that they were unable to contain price rises any longer, very generously holding them down since November.

First unit rate 27.11p/kWh to 28.466p (first 900 kWh)

Next rate 13.74p to 14.427p

Night rate 5.27p to 5.534p

Blaming the rise wholesale costs. Is there a chart anywhere for this wholesale rise. If I can recall correctly I was paying less than 7p back in 1998 ?

Might be able to help you.

Equipower nonprofit energy company:

Normal flat rate

  • 12.17p per kWh exc VAT

Economy 7

  • 15.2p per kWh exc VAT (15.96p per kWh inc VAT)
  • 5.17p per kWh exc VAT (5.43p per kWh inc VAT)

BTW, I am on the flat rate as I have mains gas which is 1/4 the price per KWh
