New Ea Tactics

Recommended Posts

Imagine my joy this morning when I saw tens of new properties come on the market for a single sleepy village. Unfortunately, on closer inspection, it seems that the agent has delisted all their properties on Rightmove and resubmitted them as new listings which in turn has cleared the Property Bee history. Do you think they did this for this very purpose or is there some other tactic behind this?

I had a local agent do this back before Christmas and in my paranoia thought it was some cunning plan. Turned out they had had a software upgrade - or so they claimed - which resulted in them re-listing all their properties on RM.

It's not new I've seen this many times before. Probably nothing to do with PB otherwise it would only make sense to do the older listings rather than everything.

For some time now all the agents in my area have been showing price drops or failed sales as new listings. This must help their time on the market stats. One of the agents in my area have relisted all their properties today as they are having a 10% off sale which ends in March.

Whenever a listings changes price, status or description Rightmove shows it as a new listing.

Just know the ceiling and floor for what and where you are looking for.

2011 isnt going to be the year of the crash as we're still wobbling too close to the peak. I say make outrageously low offers and continue to demoralise them

They are doing that around my way now too..

Except ours are only offering 5% discount and only until end of Feb. Stingy bar stewards

You're giving EAs way too much credit. They simply haven't got the gumption to do that.
