LONDON (
Reuters
) - HSBC (LSE: HSBA.L - news) has put aside a pot of about $2 billion (1 billion pounds) for its upcoming bonus round, its chairman told politicians, a lower number than last year as public scrutiny of banker pay refuses to go away.

A one, and a two and a three (all sing): We're in the munee!! Ho--we're right in the money!! :D:D:D

Looks like we're rounding down to the nearest whole billion these days.

The "Big Four" banks -- HSBC, Barclays (LSE: BARC.L - news) and part-nationalised lenders Royal Bank of Scotland (LSE: RBS.L - news) and Lloyds -- are working on a deal with the government to boost lending in return for less pressure on pay.

Sounds like fraud to me. Banksters promise to inflate the balance sheets of the businesses that employ them in return for Osborne approving oodles more for them in personal remuneration. If they wouldn't do it otherwise then how is that not a good old fashioned financial inducement or bribe? The banksters and politicians are now so corrupt it's impossible to determine fraudulent behaviour from normal ethical behaviour any longer.

Meanwhile, food rioters starve...and these scum take bonus from forcing food prices up.

If there is a GOD, these people had better make hay now....for the burning in Hell will last a long, long time.
