Blue Nose Bear
After that dismal performance by the LR figures, I think we need a laugh. So if we take the average of the haliwide and LR Average house prices for December, we get £163,324. What can you get for this in your search area, only two entries each the one above and the one below, no retirement flats allowed. So for within 3 miles of BH31 (Dorset), above we have http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31566083.html "PRICED TO SELL!!! IDEAL FIRST TIME BUY OR INVESTMENT PURCHASE - A two double bedroom end of terrace house with garden - NO FORWARD CHAIN" coming in at £163,750 and below we have Nothing, Nadda, squat diddly What about you? Blue Nose Bear
Do park homes count? Oh yes, as long as there's no age restrictions etc, wouldn't want to get an HPC'er all excited and then find they can't proceed

pocona
The one above: 2 bed semi - "Excellent First Time Buyers Or Retirement Home." The one below: 2 bed flat - "Ideal First Time Buyers Home." In my part of North Yorks, RM's average prices went from £87k in Aug 2000 to £320k in Aug 2010 (although low sales volumes mean there's a lot of variation month-by-month). Average wages in North Yorks are around £19,000.
