It's what Governments are for, stupid.

Though why are Mortgage Holders and Debtors getting special attention and treatment if we are all in this together?

They are just trying to keep the plates spinning for as long as possible, thing is, none of the fundamental problems are being sorted as the deadwood simple isn't been cleared away to make room for new growth. It will all end in tears...
