Google Foreclosures Maps

Recommended Posts

Nice of Google to list US foreclosures and tell you how many payments have been missed, how much the house is on the market for. Here is Santa Monica.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=New+York,+NY&mrt=realestate&sll=38.641076,-122.86088&sspn=0.049207,0.076818&attrid=ee6d68e1e5cb9843_&ie=UTF8&ll=40.78886,-73.968544&spn=0.098646,0.153637&t=h&z=13

If you scroll to the left you can see 'The Colony' in Malibu which is a very elite and expensive small of estate owned by Hollywood big wigs such as A-list actors and showbiz lawyers.

Scroll to the right and you come to places like Bel Air and Beverley Hills where more serious rich and famous live - foreclosures there also.

Some of these prices put UK houses into perspective.

A pox on the land, quite literally.

If we get anything like that here (and the banks go through with the repossessions of course) it'll be housepricecrash party time :D

Look at Broad Beach, Malibu - one of the most exclusive places to live in California. Right on the beach you have multi-million dollar houses yards from high tide. Sea Level drive, The Colony are the same. I would be worried by global warming! LOL!

Hills are definitely the place to live these days. Also make it easier to defend your estate from hordes of flood refugees.

Yes, I suspect Beverley Hills houses come complete with panic rooms stacked high with guns and beans!?
