Looking for somewhere safeish to park a bit of cash that will earn at least some interest, albeit still losing money against inflation  .

Can't get my head round whether this lot are in fact any more secure than zopa.

What say you lot?

Was there anyone behind Zopa in the beginning?

I don't know, but they have some fairly big VC names backing them now. Not that it means they wont fail, but I tend to think it does create a bit of respectability. Ratesetter don't even say who the directors are etc etc on the website, I guess you could find it out from companies house, but if they are asking you to trust them with their money they could at least tell you a bit more about them.
