I too heard this phone in

What a load of b*****

What world are these 'experts' living in?

I suppose all property experts are going to be bulls though by definition.

I actually went to the trouble of emailing moneybox - and roundly telling them that they and their programme was an utter disgrace...... Not that they care. But I just had to do it. :(

.....Just wait anyway. They will be recorded in the history books as the shameful liars that they really are....... This crash is going to be like no other - just sit back and watch....

And me. What about getting on a bear I suggested. It is like getting on 4 turkeys for a discussion about what is going to be the most popular meal this Christmas. Don't be surprised when they suggest lamb.

Experts my @@@@, every one of them depends on commission from house sales. I suggested to the beeb that they had a duty of balance that they total failed.

I put an ad in Private Eye 25 quid, not too bad.

I still feel we need to come up with an advertising stunt.

"For Sale" boards outside a number of notable Lnodon landmarks, all popping up one morning? A piece of spoof research?

I can't help but feel we need to just let this one play itself out, sadly.

Thinking about starting a family soon, is going to be v difficult if this carries on...

I representing down and going lo-fi punk combo, The Lethal Agents. By buying multiple copies of the band's debut EP, 'Kirsty and Phil R Dead', it could be possible to get this to the top of the hit parade and raise awareness of the HPC issue.

Here is a rough demo mp3:

A young couple look in and estat agent's window

'My god, what have they done'

'They're economically cleaning our asses'

'Are we gonna get our time in the sun'

Then an estate agent says, 'Come in here'

'I'd like to stitch you up for thirty years'

They sat down with the mortgage advisor,

Some gel-haired tw*t

He said, 'You can't afford to buy bugger all'

'But we'll soon see to that'

And he talks them into committing fraud

A self-certification mortgage and certain divorce

They turn on their television

See kirsty and phil

With a gormless family from London

Searching in the Devonshire hills

'This labourer's cottage is a million quid'

'And there's a shed outside you can use for your kids'

Turn on your television

Kirsty and Phil are dead

There's gonna have to fill up the shedules

With some other sh*t instead

Gordon Brown's miracle's over now

The gold goose has been trampled by the sacred cow

Hit it!

It was followed by ......

Someone in scheduling trying to drop a subtle hint?

/G

Probably So - a complete Pi$$take out of the general population!

As another example do you remember the 'Elitist' prog . . . . . .

David Dimbleby in "A Picture of Britain"

The Double-Entendres in every episode blatently taking the piss out of the UK's 'less educated' was Appalling.

It was 'elitism' shown to its nth degree!!

Did anyone else notice?

If the 'general population' knew what they were on about - the BBC would probably be burnt to the ground :o

I don't understand you folks at times. House prices are falling. Calm down, sit back, watch and wait, but why do you get irate? You couldn't stop them going up and you cant stop them coming down nor accelerate the decline.

Its just economics and human failings being played out. Six months ago you wouldn't have heard a word about falling house prices on the radio. The tide is turning, its started to flow your way. Relax, your stressing is harming nobody but yourselves. In three years time it'll be 30% off, regardless of a radio program.

There is a new series of Feedback this week, they look into all sorts of aspects like this. I suggest everyone submit a complaint on their site suggesting that their panel should be representative and balanced, or at the very least they should take calls or at least try to the opposing point across.

P.S. Don't forget to mention this refers to the Money Box Live programme on Monday 3pm, they get a host of stuff from across the radio networks.

Prices are coming down.. and we know that.

Its Economicly innevitable.. Even if the mood wasn't turning and the bubble ending..

But this bubble has driven the country into recession and the programme was aimed at getting more people to take the plunge into huge debt and negative equity at a time when the economic future of the country is very shaky. The International Monetry Fund has warned against our entire economy.

Now the BBC show themselves to be partly responsible for the economic mess and not taking responsibility as they do their best to convince people to commit financial suicide.

I am not suggesting that they start a panic.. But to try and convince people to do this.. I find disgusting....

Self Serving lies.. and financial advice based on self serving lies is illegal.

we need to insist that their are resignations about this.

They won't do it.

But hell..

Dear Mr (hiding my name..)

I can confirm that your e-mail to Money Box has been received and your

points noted.

Money Box Live is produced in accordance with BBC guidelines for

fairness and balance and chaired 'live' every week by some of the most

highly experienced personal finance presenters within the BBC.

Regular listeners to the programme, now in its fifteenth year, know that

it's remit is to allow listeners seeking practical help and clarity

about elements of personal finance to put their questions to experts.

It is inevitable that many experts come from within the personal finance

industry as they are the most qualified and experienced to address the

often complex issues and questions that arise. Experts are always

carefully selected and also come regularly from consumer organisations.

I believe that anyone listening to this week's programme on house buying

and selling can clearly hear it to be full of practical advice on a

subject that is always going to be of interest and importance. It is

available to hear again in 'audio on demand' format at

www.bbc.co.uk/moneybox

If you wish to raise further issues concerning this or any other BBC

programme details of our complaints procedure can be found at

www.bbc.co.uk/complaints
