Bob Loblaw
This property was on sale for an age: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-32138732.html Eventually sold in July 2010 for £173,000. Is now back on the market looking remarkably the same (no extra rooms added, has not even been spruced up) for £199,000. Going to call the agent tomorrow asking why it is back on so soon and what the sellers have done to add an additional £26,000 in a falling market.

Bob Loblaw
Why bother wasting peoples time? Accept that you can't afford it. Move on I The EAs at every opportunity should know that they share the responsibility for the mess the country is in. They are the ones coming up with arbitrary valuations for properties. The more people that hold them to account the better.
Xurbia
That looks like somewhere you buy just before you die. Looks like Stevie Wonder put the kitchen in.

200p
Kite flyers. A popular UK past time. Make me a promise HPCers. When you buy, put it up on sale again straight away for cost+£30K. Once sold, re-buy, and re-sell. Have a target to make £30K each year AT LEAST. £30K profit, becomes £60K profit, £90K, £120K, £150K etc until you're a millionaire! Executive Sadman
Is Darlington like the St. Georges hill of Middlesbrough or something? Seems bloody expensive for anywhere near Middlesbrough.

Seems bloody expensive for anywhere near Middlesbrough. Darlington is actually very nice. Gets mixed up with Middlesbrough when a fairer comparison would be Northallerton or Thirsk or some other North Yorkshire market town. Has plenty of money knocking about and you often see Ian Botham walking around. Unfortunately we have not been able to benefit from the influx of hard working immigrants so it could be described as 'hideously white'.

I once went looking at unis and went for an open day at Durham university around 2001 or 2002, we went over to the Stockton campus, i remember them pulling out thebody of a dead man from a ditch/stream between the campus and halls of residence. Only memory i have of the area, im sure Darlingtons lovely though.
