Temporary Investment Conundrum

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I need some fresh ideas as to where to park some cash (circa 750k euros) for a few months where it won't get eaten away by inflation. I don't accept the official figures for inflation in europe, the UK or US. I can't think of anything truly inflation-proof other than buying apartments or land in certain parts of europe, but that's very illiquid, innit. I might get stuck holding it for years. Can anyone recommend a suitable, more readily negotiable temporary vehicle? I'm all out of ideas. Oh, and I'm no longer UK resident so intermational solutions are welcome.
