Centrepoint Ads

Have seen many centrepoint ads where you can help young people get houses... for only 40p a day!

If that's all it costs then where are they sending them?

You pay £12 a month, i.e. 40p a day, to sponsor a room. The rooms are in hostels. It takes more than one sponsor to actually pay the cost of any particular room.

It's like sponsoring a zoo animal. At London Zoo you pay £24 per year to sponsor an elephant, for instance, but that's not going to keep such a large animal in food for long, never mind keepers' wages and vets' bills. There'll be lots of people stumping up £24 per annum for old Karishma.

Do they send you a postcard every 3 months thanking you for the new well in the village?

They should sell them as slaves. Pay 12p a day to get a drug addled hobo to live in the shed at the end of your garden. He can mow set fire to the lawn, wash sell the cars, get drink the milk and take papers for from you.

Corrected for you.
