Let's take them out of running order and start with...

Location, Location, Location: A Decade in Property C4 7.55 pm

Continuing their celebration of ten years on C4 , Kirstie and Phil take a look back at the UK's property market over the past decade. From the soaring prices of the millennium to the era of 125% mortgages, taking in the buy-to-let boom and the credit crunch, the pair talk to experts to illustrate key moments over the years. Radio Times

Earlier, for those with a strong stomach only, we have ...

Kirstie and Phil's Embarrassing Bits C4 7.10pm

... wherein the duo continue their bid to be telly's new 'favourite couple', as we see Kirstie's 'fashion faux pas', and the lovable duo reveal 'what they really think of each other'.

Finally P&K negotiate a savvy purchase for 'our boys', as disabled soldiers seek their help to find suitable homes in....

Phil and Kirstie's Homes For Heroes C4 8.55pm

Looks like 7.55pm A Decade in Property is the one to catch, as Kirstie will no doubt have an interesting take on her role in the disastrous house price escalation in the decade we've just been through.

Might watch the first one though I can't see them construing HPI as bad in any way, nor mentioning the slight downturn in house prices over the last 6 months and further falls ahead. Will give the other 2 programmes a miss - am loaded with flu at the moment and watching them could well result in me being sick again.

Think Channel 4 has finally run out of cash. One of their main films over Christmas was wait for it ..... Crocodile Dundee!Bonuses all round then for this property porn trash offering.

Didn't Phil have a 'Crocodile Dundee' period? Scratting about in Australia trying to eke a living?

I heard her on the radio a couple of years ago (during the 2008/9 dip) where she both refuted the eat my hat comment - it was supposed to refer to some short time bound period back in the day - and secondly denied she knew anything about the IO/Liar Loan culture driving prices so high and she would not condone that behaviour.

She's either stupid, conniving or both. Take your pick.

They were rather defensive there.

Don't tell us that we are wrong !! We just wont listen !!

yes it's turning into a defence case, against HPC.co.uk accusations..... she's been logging on

They will now proceed to paint themselves as innocent bystanders to HPI

showing a happy customer of the first show....... didn't they do well

what's the betting we don't get any 2007 punters on tonight

Worth watching if you can stomach it

Yep a punter that bought a new build in 2007 and they have gone back to see them today. Noted that the price today is 20% lower than when they bought.

I won't hold my breath....

Up to first ad break it's been all bull. She bought for £103K and sold for £250K.

This programme is ultra-bullish so far. Even 9/11 didn't stop the boom :o

BTW, I can't believe how self-obsessed they are... Modesty is not something they bother with.

nice history of house prices actually and more evidence if needed that the 2001 average house price of £89k was already high and only liar loans for BTL allowed the mad rise soooooo now door to that has been closed we will inevitably be seeing those prices again...... (well eventually anyway  )

Blame everything on the US, in the next segment after telling us that half the mortgages in the UK in 2004 were dodgy.

All these people know so much about this don't they ? Big bubbles go pop do they ?

I wonder how many of these 'experts' said so at the time.

Their attitude is pretty clear isn't it ?

There are homeowners and there are scum. That is about it.

I can see where this is going to end. Bad stuff has been and gone but dont worry on the way up now and bricks and mortar, safe as houses, blah blah.
