IMO 2010 was the quiet before the storm EU-wise. The imbalances were always going to tear it apart in the end. So what are they saying. They 'think' that the EU wont survive, or the Euro wont survive, or bond holders will take a haircut, or a bit of all of it?
happy_renting
So what are they saying. Bloo Loo
do their bankers "earn" £7bn in bonuses and bail outs on demand, such is their genius? The Masked Tulip
I think we should allow all those bankers wanting to go to China to do so. One of two things will result: 1. Within a few years the bankers will do to China what they have done to the West. 2. The Chinese Govt will not be so forgiving. Probably both.
ParticleMan
When various and sundry talk about "speculators" getting their "faces ripped off", or talk about bondholders "sharing the pain", I bet the team standing closest to this powder keg... Europe is China’s biggest trading partner, and the giant Asian nation has been reducing its reliance on the dollar by switching a larger portion of its $2.65 trillion (£1.7 trillion) reserves from dollars into euros. ... start to get rather worried. Charlie The Tramp Returns
China: We Think The E U May Not Survive Crisis is moving from acute to "chronic" I feel honoured that they come here and read my Anti-EU postings the past year. The rumblings are getting louder and louder, Rumpy the damp rag`s tenure as the fool of the EU could now be in jeopardy and that nonce Ashton with her over the top insulting salary may leave her claiming Job seeker`s Allowance. Oh how their dreams of a Socialist Super State is now looking less likely.

Wasn't there an article posted on here recently about the Chinese saying something about supporting/helping to bail out the EU?...like Wylie Coyote desperately trying to put out the fuse though he knows true well what the outcome has always been in the past.
