Have Your Roads Been Gritted?

Recommended Posts

I went for a spin yesterday, and didn't get very far....

I expected disruption from the snow, but the roads were far worse than I expected in Slough. As far as I can tell, not a spec of grit has been put down. And frankly it's shocking.

We've known about this weather for some time now. The forecast was actually spot on this time. And yet.... NO GRIT.

wtf

Saw a gritting lorry on my local road yesterday. Quite surprised as it's only a minor side road.

Need ploughs not grit don't they?

Shame about all the traffic calming measures. Play hell with a snowplough blade, all those funny chicanes, islands halfway across the road and random speed humps of various shapes and sizes.

No clear roads here either.

So what happened to make us so useless, did they actually sell all the equipment used for these sort of occurrences on the back of fraudulent global warming science? Should I be sending my relevant bills to that bogus climate science unit in east anglia? The bbc were all over global warming many years ago, do they think we've forgotten I wonder.
