justanewbie
Last night's expose of the Nigerian conman Spencer Michael was quite painful to watch. Personally, as soon as he appeared on screen - my first sight of the geezer - I immediately thought ... purple tie, flashy gold ring, flashy toothy smile..... coman alert ! ... american evangelist....middleman....fleecer. Sadly, others had no qualms about ransacking their credit cards to give this unpleasant, cold-eyed, big-toothed liar as much money as they could possibly borrow. It is simply staggering how easily people can be attracted by greed to suspend caution, defy logic and take an enormous risk, in order to get one chance at being "rich". The poor couple at the end would have had more chance... quite literally... of making money by spending their £27,000 on lottery tickets. right_freds_dead
be careful with your sympathy for the 'poor young couple' who, were happy engaging in a financial operation that would have fleeced other 'poor young couples'. no sympathy here......
