Cardiff Houses Still Going For Silly Money

Recommended Posts

Ah the old SSTC. Let's just wait and see shall we?

I would imagine houses on church rd dont come up very often. And i'd imagine there to be plenty of people waiting for those houses to come on the market. Those people are obviously going to be loaded. Anyone buying 700k houses in Cardiff has a lot of money. They probably invisage themselves staying there untill they die and leaving it to their children. I dont think we can look at church rd for HPC. They will always be out of reach to average punters.

Look at this one.

House on this street were asking 165-180 18months ago. Its an average house in an average area.

I'm actually suprised how much asking prices are in Whitchurch, I was hoping they would have come down a bit more.

Yes, but when you check sold prices actually about 20 houses have been sold in church rd over the past 10 years, one was sold last year for 518K, even at the hight of the market they where "only" going for around 500K max, even detached ones.

found the one on sale last year, which i think may be the same house, but they've added an extension on the side, and ruined it in my opinion.

look at the mega low celing hight in the kitchen, not what you buy a massive edwardian house for...
