Predatory Loan Sharks

Recommended Posts

Logged into my Lloyds TSB account last night and it was offering me a loan of £9k - clicked on the link to see what would happen and got to the point where one more click would see the money in my account. I went back and altered the amount to £25k and same deal. Over 60months. I cant afford a £1k loan, let alone this. I'm sensible enough to not take this but plenty of other people would just be like, 'hey, I'm having this, it's christmas'. I even asked them in the branch this morning if this was real and they confirmed it to me. I can not believe a government backed bank can be sp predatory, wait, hang on, govt. backed, I can believe it. One part of me thought i could just take the £25k and pay someone 3 yeatrs rent - its not as if the bank could take the house off of me!
