It appears this 'Crime of the Century' was discovered when the hapless victim nipped outside for a Fag.

Just where are the police, is no snowman safe on the streets? I mean, the police are supposed to guard what is important to us. Who is to say that the worth of a snowman with money for its eyes, isnt of greater value than the Crown Jewels?

Marginally more seriously, glad to see that the police seem to think that you're wasting their time if you report minor crimes. Heaven forbid that it interupt them from prosecuting something breaking an idiotic 50mph limit on a dead straight rural road miles from anywhere (A515, I'm looking at you).
