1 bedroom semi-detached bungalow for sale £144,950

My link

Dwarfed by its own hedgerow, would suit leprechaun/elf or other small but financially ignorant mythical creatures...

Picture 9 isn't as bad as the one they have in the auction catalogue though

page 118 if you fancy a look.

:)

Skelmersdale (or 'Skem' as it's known by locals, who are not famed for their ability to spell) is one of the grimmest holes you could ever have the pleasure of visiting. It's so bad that it makes its neighbour, Ormskirk, seem relatively pleasant. And Ormskirk really isn't pleasant.

Just by chance, I saw this gem in Aberdeen http://www-q.aspc.co.uk/cgi-bin/public/LiveProperty/284878?ID=FAPOJCBE#picture and was thinking about adding it to the regional thread.

Did I not win the last time?

Whilst they're nice they don't have the huge streak of black stuff that the auction picture does... (the rightmove one has a bit of it)

They're advertising a 3 bedroomed bungalow, but what I'm looking at is a photo of some public toilets.

No, I'm not understanding this at all.

All you posters on this thread should be ashamed of yourselves. This toffee nosed arrogant attitude is exactly what caused the ridiculous house prices in the first place. You say that a house should be a home and not an investment and yet you declare perfectly good homes as "ugly". If it is dry and warm and big enough just who do you think you are to call it ugly? One poster is even making fun of a color ffs. He likes green! Get over yourself!

This thread should be moved to Mumsnet where it would fit in perfectly. You guys are not any kind of solution to the problem. You ARE the problem.

Erm the pictures posted are not so much homes as nasty pre-cast concrete monstrosities that are as ugly as when they were thrown up.

I'm all for cheap housing but cheap doesn't mean nasty windowless box.
