Does The Observer Count As Msm?

Recommended Posts

Article in today's (14/11/10) Observer

http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2010/nov/14/home-ownership-renting

It's a bit long to quote in full here, but you can read it by clicking on the link.

It mentions, but doesn't, in my view, sufficiently emphasise

1) more rights for tenants and therefore greater security and stability when renting

2) alternative ways of investing money

It doesn't mention at all the huge problem with renting. With the miserable state pension in the UK, and the difficulty for the majority of people of saving a sufficiently large pension pot, where are the retired going to live if they don't have a paid-for house?
