winkie Posted November 13, 2010 Share Posted November 13, 2010 Just enquired about getting a wood burning stove installed, going back to the old days when I went up the glen looking for kindlers with my granny! Keeps you fit.....seriously (those that do not live in smoke free zones) will be doing more of this sort of thing to save money. Turning off radiators in rooms that are not used, investing in making thick thermal curtains, sitting around a nice warm open fire with a toasting fork cooking tea.
